PATTERNS (2021)
This was our first winter ever. That day, wind and snow had created such incredible patterns we felt like lonely visitors of a distant planet never touched by human hand. So, we took our cameras and began to shoot. 20 minutes later, our bodies were freezing but we knew we got what we wanted. At home, we thought about how humans have tried for decades to capture the great ephemeral beauty of nature. Instantly, we began to replicate what we witnessed using only paper and light.
